Fish Eye Lense.

A while back, well more like a month or so ago, I went on an Amazon.com hunt to find an adaptable lense for my Nikon p80. I so happened to find this: [link]

Same lense, I'm positive. (Had to search there because Amazon didn't have it anymore) ?

I brought it up at home, but my dad has been trying to convert me over to a job. It's summer, and i'll be gone mostly, so i'll have to search and send in a form when summer's ending. The lense was only 24$ and since it was a "novelty" item my dad told me to save for it. Turns out I forgot about it and considering it has apparently been a tough year of high school on me, they took me out to a "semi-grad" dinner. I had a tremendous headache and did not want to go but I knew they were up to something, whether it was a gift or the waiters singing something to me (makes no sense really). I told them jig's up and I hated surprises, so they whipped out the wrapped box. I shook it (god forbid I had known it was a lense I wouldn't have shaken it) and saw the glorious thing, and freaked out.

So now I have this nice new lense, that I suck at using. It's "semi", which I can tell, it really isn't exactly like a fish eye- but... semi. GO FIGURE. But it's mostly for macro. So tomorrow i'm going on an adventure with it, with ~Ekops8. I already got some shots, might start a Flickr account and upload them tonight.

Summer is here. I have many plans! This Wednesday i'm going to a show at the Black Cat in Washington, D.C. to see An Horse and Telekinesis. GOOD BANDS. I will for SURE be taking photos with my new lense!

:(
And in more saddening news, my best friend in the whole world, ~Ekops8, is moving to Chicago this Sunday. I have been taking it harshly for the past few weeks, but only recently has it gotten worse. I've already got plans for a train ticket. Dude, time is flying faster than ever. Most of my friends graduated high school on Friday. It's stranger than anything. I feel older, myself.

And speaking of! ... my dad is helping me find a car. :omfg:

I'm thinking this: [link]
NOT IN RED. But maybe this car. Just a thought. After all, I am going to be paying for it soon. And I really wanted a beetle, but they're highly unsafe. The thing is pretty much a rolling coffin, you know. Oh well. Maybe one day for an in town car.

:( Aww, I'm sorry that your friend is leaving.

:XD: Congratulations on the new lens! I can't wait to see what comes of it.

would be unwise to get a brand new car for your first. and beetles are fine but you sit at a funny angle and prob not best to start in. first get a cheap runaround then it doesnt hurt the wallet too much when you have accident ;)

My dad wont let me get a cheap runaround. He's thinking it will be a used car, but it has to be the right kind of car to be okay if used already. And also Beetles are stick shift, and I can't drive a stick (and I refuse to learn)... though I think most aren't these days (like the old ones).

Anyhow. I need a JOB first. And then I'll go on a hunt.
